Recording a contract with type and status
A CON-… number, title, type (services, employment, rental, contracting, consulting, sales), status (draft, pending approval, approved, rejected), amount in rials, payment method, start and end dates and a completion deadline.
Details of both parties
First party (employer) and second party (contractor) with name, national ID, representative, role and address; and an optional CRM party to tie the contract to a customer.
Clauses, special terms and guarantees
Contract clauses with a title and text, special terms and provisos and guarantees, together with a contract preview that has a seal and signature area.
Amendments with history
Once a contract enters the signing flow, clauses can only be changed through "Record amendment" (with an optional reason), and the amendment history keeps the previous and new titles.
Electronic signing flow
When the status changes to "Pending approval", if an active signing rule exists for the contract type, a signing flow starts: signers based on org-chart positions, a quorum, amount and date conditions and signature delegation. In the current phase only contracts are wired to this engine.
Smart contract creation
If no form type exists for contracts yet, writing a short description creates a process stage and form type, and the contract form opens right there.
Referrals, attachments, chat and print
Refer a contract to a colleague for review and approval with an action history, attach files (such as the signed text), send it in internal chat, copy the link and print.
Consumption from a contract and customer contracts
In CRM each customer's contracts (or their cases) are listed with a balance; and the amount consumed from a contract can be recorded with an optional invoice number.

Which contract types can be defined?
The contract type is chosen from services, employment, rental, contracting, consulting and sales. The form type is chosen when a new contract is created and cannot be changed afterwards.
How do we change clauses once a contract is in the signing flow?
Clauses change only through "Record amendment", not a normal form save, and the amendment history keeps the previous and new titles.
How does electronic signing start?
By changing the contract status to "Pending approval"; if an active signing rule exists for that contract type, a signing flow is created automatically, otherwise the contract is saved without a signing flow. In the current phase only contracts are wired to this engine.
What if a signer is away?
They can delegate their signing authority (overall or only for one position) to someone else; delegation takes two approvals: the recipient and the approver position set in company settings.
Can a contract be linked to a CRM customer?
Yes. "Contract party (CRM)" is optional, and each customer's contracts or cases are listed in CRM with a balance.
