Afrandeh Cloud Accounting

Cloud Accounting Software

A web-based, multi-company, multi-fiscal-year financial system

Fiscal-year setup and an up-to-8-level chart of accounts, draft and final journal entries with balance control, bulk draft-to-final conversion, and account review, debtor/creditor and 8-level reports — all web-based, on the same unified Afrandeh database, with nothing to install on user machines.

Part of Afrandeh's unified platform — the same database that runs your invoicing, inventory and treasury, so accounting is never cut off from the rest of the process.

FAQ

Afrandeh cloud accounting — frequently asked questions

How does Afrandeh cloud accounting work?

Afrandeh is fully web-based and needs nothing installed on the end user machine. You can deploy it in the cloud on our infrastructure or on your own server; automatic updates are handled inside the software itself.

Does it support several companies and fiscal years at once?

Yes. Every accounting page follows the selected company and fiscal year, and user access is defined per fiscal year. The 8-level report can also report several companies separately or combined.

What is the difference between a draft and a final entry?

A draft entry is not yet finalized and has a draft number; a final entry is finalized with a permanent number. Until it is finalized, a draft entry shows up in reports only with the "draft entries" tick.

When can an entry be saved?

Total debit must equal total credit ("balanced"), the date must fall inside the selected fiscal year, an entry group must be set, and there must be at least one row; otherwise a validation message is shown.

What is required to define a new fiscal year?

If the company has a previous fiscal year, that year must have an opening entry, a closing entry and an inventory period start issued; the status of each is shown with a coloured badge under the form.

How do I convert draft entries to final?

Pick a date range; balanced draft entries are selected by default (unbalanced ones are not converted); you see a preview and confirm. You can merge each day into one final entry and review the conversion history.

Which reports are available?

Account review (a four-column trial balance on all eight levels plus account turnover, with Excel and PDF export), the debtors and creditors report, and a report by the 8 accounting code levels with multi-company reporting.
